There comes a time in a girls’ life when you just give up trying to lose that extra bit of fat because no matter what you do whether it’s trying the latest ‘must do’ diet fad, killing yourself at the gym on next to no calories or just trying to not eat so much chocolate – it always comes back with interest!

16 years ago, when I had my first child.

I was left with a ‘baby pouch’ which, no matter what I did, just wouldn’t shift and for added bonus my child bearing hips stayed along for the ride. For years I made peace with the fact that they were my ‘tiger stripes’ and I didn’t really look that bad……or so I thought!

Fast forward to 2 years ago, I had baby number 2 and that ‘baby pouch’ definitely had that ‘lived in’ look! 

Being a new mum and back to work after 3 months was tough. As you can imagine, I was exhausted burning the candle at both ends (and in the middle) with no energy to exercise or eat properly and just piling on the pounds.

Of course I kept an eye on proceedings to see what was going on and watched with raised eye brow (singular) as my man started taking this ‘drink’. It actually didn’t take long before I noticed he was more active, started sleeping better and the biggest difference – his body fat started to literally melt away. His aches and pains seemed to start disappearing too.
